1. How do I disconnect from Xero?

In Flex Catering, Go to System > Integrations, Accounting tab and click Disconnect.

2. What doesn’t Flex Catering integration do?

The integration between Flex Catering and Xero allows you to send your orders in Flex Catering to Xero. It also send the respective customers, products and payment.

3. How do payment processing fees appear in Xero?

Flex Catering doesn’t pass payment processing fees to Xero. In addition, we don’t charge a payment processing fee. Your credit card merchant may charge you a merchant fee and normally provide a separate invoice for that. You will need to manually enter that fee in Xero.

4. How do I reconcile sales data synced to Xero?

There are two ways. 1) You can go to the Orders List in Flex Catering and by ticking on the green tick next to each order it will take you straight to the respective order/Invoice in Xero. 2) You can issue reports in Flex Catering which displays all orders imported  to Xero and totals. You can then check the data is correct between both systems.

Flex Catering was the best business decision we made. It has built consistency within the business and provided transparency for our customers. Now customers can view and order from our online menu. Our staff can easily identify the confirmed orders and print specific production reports for the kitchen and drivers. Customer support is always online and very helpful. New versions are released every few weeks or so with nice additional features which are always very welcome and helpful. A big thumbs up to the Flex team :)
